The School Library Media Center is challenged to inspire a passion for knowledge and a love of reading, to teach students to become skilled users of information tools, to develop life-long learners, and to integrate technology into the school curriculum through collaboration.

Michelle Wilson-Alexander, Librarian

Ms. Wilson-Alexander is in her 9th year as a librarian at Boone County High School, where she also taught English for 3 years. Before coming to BCHS she taught English for nine years in Nashville, TN. She loves to read Historical and Young Adult fiction. Her goal as a librarian is to help students find a book they enjoy and to build students' confidence in successfully utilizing the library's resources and technology.
